Second meeting of Russia-Iran Working Group on ICT’s held virtually

Second meeting of Russia-Iran Working Group on ICT’s held virtually on 2nd September 2020.
According to the international affairs of the TIC; in this meeting, which was held in the form of a video conference due to the Pandemi of Covid-19; Three separate committees discussed the items on the draft agenda simultaneously.
The Iranian delegation was chaired by Mr. Fattahi, Deputy Minister and Managing Director of the Infrastructure Telecommunications Company (TIC), and Maxim Parshin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Communications and Mass Media, was also the chairman of the Russian working group.
In addition to representatives of organizations and companies affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Iran, representatives of the private sector, including Iran Telecommunication, Hamrah Aval (MCI), Irancell and HiWeb, also attended the meeting.
In this video conference session; parties discussed the mutual matters in three main areas:
1) Development of cooperation in the field of communication and radio monitoring.
2) Development of cooperation in the field of ICT.
3) Development of cooperation in the field of information security.
