Country's transmission network capacity to increase to 24 Tb by the next year

Dr. Abbasi Shahkouh, Managing Director of TIC  at the conference of managers of the Ministry of ICT  and it's subsidiary companies, referred to the Sixth Development Plan in the field of infrastructure,and  said: "In the sixth plan, the development is aimed at reaching 30 terabytes of international transit, one of which the main priorities of the company are infrastructure communications in this period.

He added: "Iran has the geographical advantage of the regional infrastructure hub, and given the region's actions in that area, there is still room for regional hubs, which is, of course, the last opportunity for Iran in this area.
 Referring to the indicators for the next year in the field of infrastructure,  he said: "In the international area, we will double from 1.1 Tb at the end of November in the next year, and in the internal IP, by doing projects in hand ,the internal IP capacity  will increase from 6.8 Tb/s to about 15 Tb by next year.
