IT investments to focus on IT operation management tools through 2020
In its latest report Market Trends: Deliver Competitive ITOM by Integrating Open Source and Cloud Services, Gartner noted that the substantial growth of digital business and the Internet of Things (IoT) is driving investments in IT operations management (ITOM).

In India, Traditional data center outsourcing is forecast to reach $559 million in 2017, while cloud infrastructure as a service spending will total $677 million this year.
New ITU standard: Information-centric networking to support 5G

The Capacity of  country’s communications network transiting to reach 560 Gigabit
Mr.Azarijahromi,Deputy minister of ICT ,Chairman of THE Board and Managing director of TIC ,in his new year(known as Nowruz in Iran) meeting with TIC staff, announced that Iran’s international transit bandwidth was increased from 100 Gigabit at the beginning of the year 1395(21 March 2016) to 560 Gigabit at the end of 1395 (20 March 2017) and as a part of the sixth 5-years development plan, this capacity will be increased by 60 times in the new year.
Gartner Says Worldwide IT Spending Forecast to Grow 1.4 Percent in 2017
Worldwide IT spending is projected to total $3.5 trillion in 2017, a 1.4 percent increase from 2016, according to Gartner, Inc. This growth rate is down from the previous quarter's forecast of 2.7 percent, due in part to the rising U.S. dollar.
