CEO of TIC met the Communication Minister of Syria
Mohammad Jafarpour, Deputy Minister, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Infrastructure Communications Company, met with Ayad al-Khatib, Minister of Communication and Technology of the Syrian Arab Republic.

According to PR of TIC: In this meeting, "Ayad Al-Khatib", the Minister of Syria, emphasized that Iran has taken a strong step in the field of ICT and promised to increase bilateral cooperation. He added: In Syria, since 2010, we have been trying to improve our telecommunication situation, and by separating landline phones from mobile phones, we are taking measures in this field.
He positively evaluated the existence of competition in the market of providing services at the level of domestic and international communication and emphasized on the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of communication and infrastructure.
After those explanation Mohammad Jafarpour, CEO of Infrastructure Communications Company introduced the company and said: with close relations between the two countries of Iran and Syria, we can have good cooperation in the field of infrastructure and telecommunication. 
He pointed out that TIC is a provider of international internet bandwidth and national telecommunication too. 
Jafarpour added: fixed and mobile telecommunication operators in Iran are the fundamental customers of Infrastructure Communication Company and we are the main provider of all type of telecommunication services. 
Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technology, emphasized that the equipment of these technologies are produced in Iran and The capacity of the transmission network in Iran is 45 (tbps), which is the largest transmission network in the region.
He also emphasized that a significant amount of Iraq's internet is supplied by Iran, and We are ready to have bilateral cooperation with Syria in the field of data traffic.
